That was due to a typo to enable the right portion of code. ;-)

DirectColor in DGA mode should work now since my last commit of today.  
However, when quitting B2, I get

XIO:  fatal IO error 9 (Bad file descriptor) on X server ":0.0"
      after 79 requests (78 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Any thoughts?
