No. As I said, CVS is completly unusable for me (that is, I get to 
see the prefs screen, but when I start the emulation, the screen just 
stays black).
This was done using the latest release.

But I just see there were some CVS changes... hm, I really should 
subscribe to your CVS-notification ML :)

Looking at the code & configure.in, mmap is not even used one OS X, 
but vmallocate is.

config.h doesn't contain this, but yeah, -dDIRECT_ADDRESSING is 
passed in the CVS version.
It is not, however, in the non-CVS-version.
