[B2-devel] Recent VOSF changes

Hi,

Recent changes in VOSF code (between 2001/07/02 and today) were intented
to workaround a few problems on Linux/ia64. Unfortunately, those changes
seem to have yielded lesser performance in windowed mode (around 18%!) on
other architectures (say a P3/800).

Sorry for the inconvenience, I will try to fix that soon.
