#53 Some programmes won't start.

On a Windows machine (Win 2000) I am using Basilisk II (0.8.0.143) with the ROM image from a
Powerbook 280c (68040) running MacOS 8.1. While most programmes run fine (and the speed is
excellent), some programmes don't start at all, e.g. Word 6.0.1, Apple Works 5.0, hp LaserJet 4,5,6
Installer. These programmes run on the original powerbook without problems.
The message is always the same (I use a German version):
"<Programmnae>" (Programm) konnte nicht geöffnet werden, da es möglicherweise defekt ist oder nicht
mit diesem Computertyp verwendet werden kann..

is it possable that the programs are PowerPC native or FAT ??
This appears to be an os message. Also are the programs your
trying to run specific to the hardware of the powerbook in
anyway ??
