I am glad to see KUML move to Sourceforge. KUML is one of the primary projects that I hope to integrate with the Basil modeling environment. Check them out at:
Does KUML already have a C++ UML metamodel implementation as separate module that compile on Win32 and Unix. I'm quite often asked about it. The requests are sent to NSUML project for some strange reason :).

Hi Constantine!
The short answer is: No.
The long answer is that Darius and I hope to have Basil generate one from your project! In the meantime, we are using FreeCASE which implements a UML interface via the OMG's CORBA IDL specs. According to my understanding they are building the CORBA backend using some hand written code and gawk scripts to fill the whole thing in.
The good news is that I think I have NSUML's metamodel in Python, with support for import/export! Whether the format complies to XMI or not remains to be seen.
If you want to talk about a C++ library, let me know, as I have one in my plans.
