Sounds great. Java 1.5 is the way to go.
I'd also like to suggest not ruling out Jython.. If we could leverage some
of the power of Python for certain classes, we could develop this alot
faster and maybe even tap into some old PD C libraries not to mention the
python modules. Just a thought :). I've fallen in love with Python
recently. Very seductive language :)
