Tiny, small (author says fast, but how fast?) WEB server written in VisualBASIC have just became the member of our Foundry! :)
We have new cool project as member of BASIC foundry and also its author became BASIC foundry member. The project I am talking about is wxBASIC, cool BASIC interpreter based on wxWindows ToolKit. Hmm, it seems that ALL famous ToolKits will have apropriate BASIC interpreters, crazy (GnomeBASIC, KBASIC, wxBasic) ... :)
Today i've added LemickBASIC project here and also its author as a member of BASIC foundry... Lemmick BASIC is cool project and I personally consider of joining that project... :)
My pleasure is to announce that Marc-Oliver Ihm (YaBASIC), Eddie Penninkhof (XBASIC) and Paul Robinson (ScriptBasic) are from now on ADMINISTRATORS of SourceForge's BASIC foundry! :) My opinion is that their knowledge will help us all to make one good BASIC compiler/interpreter/script-language that works on different platforms and servs its purpose.
Also, there are some new members (they can later become Administrators :)
New members are: Nicholas Christopoulos (Small BASIC), M. Hoffmann (X-11 Basic), and Lee Smith (Production BASIC)... read more
Sorry guys, I thought that it is possible to insert HTML tags into News messages... :(
My pleasure is to announce new, BASIC related project that became a member of BASIC foundry - Exil (http://www.sf.net/projects/exil"). - Exil is a bytecode-language that (when it's finished) can execute GW-Basic programs, after converting them to an own format. Maybe it's possible to add other languages later.

Today I've added Mr. Eddie Penninkhof into BASIC foundry members list. XBasic (https://sourceforge.net/projects/xbasic/) is the most popular projects on SourceForge that is related to BASIC programming language. Eddie has almost all administration privileges on this foundry. I hope his experience and knowledge will help us on our present and new (BASIC related) projects. WELCOME Eddie! :)
I suggest all to take a look at new interpreter "X11-Basic Interpreter for Linux/Unix". It's on https://sourceforge.net/projects/x11-basic and project leader is kollo@users.SourceForge.net. It's fast and small Basic Interpreter for Linux/Unix with X11 graphic capabilities.
