Hi guys,
I'm want to write my own BASIC interpreter just for fun, but it's been some time since I last used it, and I'm not that familiar with it any more. Is there some free standard available (not ANSI), or at least a complete language description, on which I can base the interpreter on?
Thanks

Base it on QBasic, but add more features, like better graphics, better sound, and better aility to communicate directly to the hardware without using PEEK & POKE.

There's no. Basic will be Basic until there's no standard for it :))
