[base] upgrade error (3.4 to 3.9 - actually schema version 119-120)

Dear BASE guys,

I got the error below with updatedb.sh

I've had a look at Update.java and I'm afraid the hibernate stuff is
outside my comfort zone...

Please could you let me any further information you need to diagnose?
