This is a small project, right now nothing more than a hobby-horse of mine, since I am not by trade or nature a programmer. I may add functions and features as I learn how, but the only way this idea can progress further than a silly command line novelty is if others find the idea of a base-60 clock interesting. I find it at least as interesting as a base-2 clock, and those are popular enough, so I have some hope for this project.
To-do List:
1. Add command-line options. For instance
--nosec
could prevent the program from displaying seconds and updating every second.--print
could instruct the program to print the time once and exit.Integrate into a desktop widget, Gnome3 extension, etc.
Integrate into a physical clock.
