Add the equivalent capability of the RIM (from their Windows KDE) command line utility JavaLoader.exe. It lists, uploads, deletes and manages .COD modules on Blackberry's. One would think if you ask RIM nicely they may even make the code available for porting. Combined with Sun's J2ME environment it would provide a complete development environment for RIM outside the current only supported on Windows development platform. it might be in their interest to do so.

Just an update for those tracking this item:

Thanks to efforts by Nicolas Vivien and Josh Kropf and others on the mailing list, Barry now has a bjavaloader tool which implements a number of commands from the Windows tool, including loading COD files.

The upcoming version 0.15 will include this, and you are encouraged to try out the latest CVS/git repos if this functionality is important to you. Please send feedback to the mailing list if you have trouble.

    Thanks,
    - Chris
