Syncing is one of the stated goals of the project, but
uploading of data to the device is needed first. Upload
support is being worked on in version 0.0.2.

I haven't done much research into the syncing API of
Evolution. If you have helpful URLs on the programming side
of this, please post them here as followups, or to the
mailing list. Most of the action is happening on the
    mailing list.

It would be easier for others to see if you created two separate feature requests with appropriate titles.

Syncing for contacts and events has been implemented using OpenSync 0.22. It is very much in the alpha stage, but I have it working on my system.

See the mailing list for information.

Charging your Blackberry on Linux is already possible. See the latest tarball release, version 0.7.

Experimental ipmodem support, in the form of pppob, is now in the latest CVS. See the ppp/ directory for a sample peers file that works with Rogers.

Documentation in the doc/www directory is coming, but not yet complete. Serial mode (the cousin of ipmodem, supported on older devices) is not fully implemented. Most current devices these days likely support ipmodem.

Any testing you could do on this devel tree would be much appreciated, especially if done before the release, so bugs can be worked out. Please send any comments or issues to the mailing list.

I'm closing this tracker item, as these are now supported, although in alpha form, in the latest CVS.

    Thanks,
    - Chris
