Thank you very much for the verification. The truth though is that after a call to a print page that calls barcode servlet I noticed the following: 0.000: [GC 0.000: [ParNew: 314624K->0K(353920K), 0.3607524 secs] 314624K->22440K(1009280K), 0.3609496 secs] 37.075: [GC 37.075: [ParNew: 314624K->0K(353920K), 0.2938394 secs] 337064K->39533K(1009280K), 0.2940266 secs] 108.379: [Full GC 108.379: [ParNew: 123025K->0K(353920K), 0.0799327 secs]108.459: [CMS: 47996K->44448K(655360K), 1.0210825 secs] 162558K->44448K(1009280K), [CMS Perm : 52213K->49395K(131072K)], 1.1092151 secs] while at the same time when I disabled explicit gc and called again the print page the Full GC did not appear in my gc logs. I have also no calls to System.gc() either in my code. Thank you ________________________________ Από: Jeremias Maerki [mailto:de...@je...] Αποστολή: Δευ 7/12/2009 4:04 μμ Προς: bar...@li... Θέμα: Re: [Barcode4j-users] BarCide servlet and Full GCs I've just verified that Barcode4J does NOT call System.gc() or Runtime.gc(). I'm afraid I don't see how Barcode4J could be triggering a full GC. It must be something else.
