Hi

First read:
http://barcode4j.sourceforge.net/2.0/output-formats.html

BitmapEncoderRegistry.getSupportedMIMETypes() gives me this list:
image/x-png
(image/png)
image/jpeg
image/vnd.wap.wbmp
image/bmp

...and with the optional add of JAI:
image/x-portable-graymap
image/x-bmp
image/x-portable-pixmap
image/x-portable-anymap
image/jpeg2000
image/jp2
image/tiff
image/x-portable-bitmap
image/gif
image/x-windows-bmp

But the class org.krysalis.barcode4j.tools.MimeTypes, which is helpfull to associate fileExtension to mimeType, contains only the following:
image/svg+xml
image/x-eps
image/tiff
image/jpeg
image/x-png
image/gif

I am particularly asking for the bmp format, but i think it will be helpfull to provide all those formats,
plus giving a method in MimeTypes giving the information for a given format if it needs jai.

Thank you for this usefull framework.

But you realize that you can just specify "image/x-bmp" and you'll get a Windows BMP file? A mapping from "bmp" to "image/x-bmp" in MimeTypes would only be a convenience, not a blocker for generating BMP images. Or did I somehow misunderstand your feature request?

    That's it, just a convenience.
I want to pass the fileExtension in parameter, and retrieve the mime type.

    String mimeType = MimeTypes.expandFormat(fileExtensionFormat)

    What about MimeTypes ?
