Hello, until now I wasn't able to have a closer look at the code, but it seems to me that maybe the CR LF conversion is made internally by cygwin. I had a similar problem on a program some long time ago. In Text Files you won't notice any change, because most windows programs are smart enough to interpret the LF as CRLF.
