Hello, Added bacula-devel to thread. 2013/2/18 Mauro Colorio <mau...@gm...> > http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2013 > > why don't take the opportunity of training a new young developer to > bacula? :) > > Why not. :) I think, Kern should define a scope of the project and apply to GSOC. IMHO example projects should came from Bacula projects TODO list. My personal favorites: Item 20: Job migration between different SDs (require a design of sd->sd communication, someone on this list proposed a development of this functionality but IMHO without any success) Item 21: Implement Storage daemon compression (it should be very easy to achieve, I can give tips how to do that) Item 29: Multiple threads in file daemon for the same job (I prefer record level multithreading then file level multithreading proposed in projects file, pros: faster compression and encryption) Item 32: Bacula Dir, FD and SD to support proxies Kern, what do you think about it? best regards -- Radosław Korzeniewski rad...@ko... |
