That is what I am doing as well - if you look over the recent posts on the users list. If these binaries are as good and easy to use, and you want others to use the program - then it would be much more helpful to point me in the right direction, rather than kicking me in the shins for trying to do what the READMEs describe as straight forward. From what I am finding they are not - or else there are some specific pre-condition which are not specified or mentioned in these instructions - in which case it would be helpful to find out which and update these instructions.
