A NOTE has been added to this issue. ====================================================================== http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1663 ====================================================================== Reported By: martinezino Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: bacula Issue ID: 1663 Category: Storage Daemon Reproducibility: always Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: new ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 2010-11-13 13:09 UTC Last Modified: 2010-11-17 14:00 UTC ====================================================================== Summary: hfsplussupport enabled and data encryption produces "Signature is invalid" errors Description: Setup: FD on OSX, DIR and SD on Linux and data encryption enabled on FD (OSX). FileSets for the OSX client is configured on the linux box (dir daemon) with: Options { signature = MD5 compression = gzip # hfsplussupport = yes xattrsupport = yes } If i try to restore the files back to the fd (OSX) and the FileSets of the corresponding Job had hfsplussupport enabled, then i get "Signature is invalid" errors while restoring the files. While the files are decrypted and saved on the destination (client osx), the job is finished with errors (see additional infos). If i disable the hfsplussupport option - the restore job (to OSX client) runs fine. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0005652) Dan Langille (manager) - 2010-11-15 02:14 http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1663#c5652 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Was this discussed on the users mailing list? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0005654) martinezino (reporter) - 2010-11-15 10:44 http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1663#c5654 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Not by me. And i didn't find something similar. But using the primary client keypair still leads to the errors ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0005656) Dan Langille (manager) - 2010-11-16 00:46 http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1663#c5656 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I asked about the users mailing list because I figured they might have an answer. https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0005659) martinezino (reporter) - 2010-11-17 14:00 http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1663#c5659 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Dan, did you have a notion - where the cause could be?
