I just started experimenting with BackupPC. It seemed to be working more or less fine until it got to the first level 0 after the initial one. I am using the rsync transfer method. Last night it was supposed to do a level 0, but it didn't work. From the logs: 2004/5/6 20:00:00 full backup started for directory / 2004/5/6 22:04:46 cleaning up after signal ALRM 2004/5/6 23:00:01 full backup started for directory / 2004/5/7 01:02:54 cleaning up after signal ALRM 2004/5/7 02:00:01 full backup started for directory / 2004/5/7 04:02:47 cleaning up after signal ALRM 2004/5/7 05:00:01 full backup started for directory / 2004/5/7 07:03:12 cleaning up after signal ALRM I checked the logs on the client system, and I do not see anything wrong with it. The client is Solaris 7. The server is a Dell 2650 that is doing nothing except BackupPC. I currently only have two clients configured for BackupPC. I don't see anything in the server's logs either. I have plenty of disk left: Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity iused ifree %iused Mounted on /dev/amrd1s1b 1.4T 14G 1.2T 1% 438923 188471667 0% /backup Any ideas what might be causing the sig ALRM? Am I correct that it was the server process that received the ALRM? Any help would be appreciated. Dan |
