Have you tried it without mod_perl? >=20 > Also, what version of BackupPC are you running? The code for generatin= g > the zip and tar files was updated in 2.0.0beta1. Hello Graig, I upgraded to 2.0.0beta1, and I've (still) got some troubles, as=20 described below. without mod_perl ("simple" cgi mod), the .zip or .tar file produced are=20 fine (now ?), no CGI headers inside this archive files. with mod_perl, ask for a .zip file containing backuped files send (only)=20 this to the web browser: Content-Type: application/zip Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=3D"restore.zip" With IE, this shows as a web page. If a come back to previous page (the=20 how-do-you-restore-files page) and click on "download zip file", the=20 same thing happens. BUT if I come back to previous page (the how-do-you-restore-files page),=20 ask for reload page, then click on "download zip file", the IE shows a=20 web page containing the header as below followed by the content of the=20 .zip file. With Netscape 7, the troubles look different: in the second step (ask=20 for reload page and click on "download zip file"), netscape offers me to=20 save file, the described mime type "application/octet-stream", the=20 suggested name is 'backupPC_Admin'. I don't know what to do with it, I don't have enough currently to have a=20 look into the code :( Regards, Pierre Bourgin |
