For rsync(d), this is inexpensive (bandwidth wise), for other XferMethods it is simply important, because the incrementals don't correctly track deletions (and new/moved files with old modification dates). You need to make regular full backups in any case, and a configuration change like you described it is definitely an occasion where you would manually cause one to be run. Regards, Holger |
