Hi again. Sorry, dude, I don't have access to a XP Home install. Have you tried to turn off Simple File Sharing? I think that gives you = better access control over files and directories. If you ARE using = simple file sharing, have you tried level 5 (or at least level 4). By = default, I think "my documents" are level 2. - Wade -----Original Message----- From: bac...@li... The windows user is set up with the account type: Computer = Administrator. The only options I have are either Computer Administrator or Limited. = This is Windows XP Home edition. For example, the windows user is called Dave, and he is set up with the = Administrator group. I mount my samba shares using the user Dave and passing the password. = This is all fine. But, I still cannot get access to My Documents.
