You probably don't have to. If the user name and password match up, regardless of the domain, it is usually accepted. This is from my experience with the smb tools under linux. Also I have had windows machines be able to access other domains if there exists a username and password identical on both domains, without any prompting required. It's really handy when you want to have an XP Home box access the domain, just create a local user with the same user/pass as on the domain. Try it out without the "DOMAIN\", and report back to the list whether it is a success or not. Josh. >I have to backup machines from two different domains.
