is there a way to quickly and easily tell backuppc not to do anything automatically, for the time being? stopping the server does this, of course, at the expense of not letting you browse/restore/etc. (but at least i can still read the docs. :-) i'm looking for the big "pause" button. the only thing i can find is the setting $Conf{FullPeriod}, which i can set to -1. i think this will do what i want, if i set it in the global config file. is there a better way? this seems like an important setting to be hung on a "special" value of a config parameter. further, is there any way to see in the web interface that this has been done, either globall, or on a per-machine basis? i set an individual machine's FullPeriod to -2 the other day, when i retired the machine, and didn't see anything in the UI to indicate the change. (i'm also still getting mail about "not having been able to back up 'oldmachine' for N days -- how do i turn that mail off?) paul =--------------------- paul fox, pg...@fo...
