The versions before 3.0.0 didn't follow the Linux File Hierarchy
Standard (FHS), which is a standard (use Google to find it!)
Good call - I usually do use google! :)
specifies where files of each type should go. For example,
configuration files belong in the /etc directory.
Yeah, I had it there originally and moved it when I thought it could be the reason why my settings weren't being picked up. (/etc/BackupPC/).
