For safety's sake I would like to backup my backup to a remote machine.
Given that most of my backup files are large and don't change very
often, I thought the bast way to do this would be using rsync, but since
it is a REALLY BIG archive I didn't want to spend a week on the upload
just to find out that this won't actually do the trick,
I'm using Debian (unstable) and BackupPC 2.0.2. Is it sufficient for me
to copy the /var/lib/backuppc directory to a remote machine, using
rsync? Will the contents of this directory change no more than the
contents of the files being backed up originally? Are there any other
directories or files that need to be backed up?
Try Debian Linux. Software freedom for the bold...
