Yes, you can put a config.pl in the client directory to customize the
settings for the client. For example, for client "farside", put the
config.pl file in:
But it sounds like you did that already.
So the next question is why it doesn't work. Here are three things
- does the client's config.pl appear in the CGI interface left
navigation bar when you are displaying that client's home page?
If so, can the CGI interface display it? This is one way to check
that the file is in the right place and has the right permissions.
- what settings are you putting in the client.pl? Not all settings
can be customized on a per-client basis, but all the important ones
- finally, what test did you do to confirm whether or not the client's
config.pl was being read?
