I know that Java is powerful and all that, but I have found that making applications widely available often means using a delivery method that is consistent on all browsers and platforms. Java just isn't it anymore.
Of course, I tried the java version of the babelchat that otherwise brought me to this page and all I got was a grey box. And this is in IE! You would think that the app would work on the most common of browsers at the very least?
How about using Flash MX? It works pretty much on anything and has lots of nice interconnectivity goodies too! Thoughts?
I am a pretty good Flash developer, so I mean to back my talk with actions if so called upon.
