Category: Interface Improvements (example) Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: https://www.google.com/accounts () Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Ability to force, or disable encoding pop-up Initial Comment: I am looking for a way to force a specific encoding or disable the encoding selection pop up. One of my main torrent sites does not specify encoding, so I am constantly prompted every time I upload a torrent. I only use English char sets so I don't need the ability to set individual encoding. Just setting a single forced setting would be nice. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=826442&aid=3537014&group_id=163110 |

Hello, this software works great! Nice idea! I have one feature request, the open file location option that appears when you right click on a torrent. Perhaps a configurable option to point to a share where the torrents live. Example, my share might be //server/somegeneralfolder/my_torrent_file. And I can set the share location in azsmrc to //server/somegeneralfolder where all my torrent downloads live, and azsmrc will open up that share location when I use the option. Thanks! |

It would be nice if the admin could stop and stop other users' torrents as well. This would be relatively easy to implement, I should think. Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 7 Private: No Submitted By: coreying (coreying) Assigned to: Leonard Brünings (damokles) Summary: ScaneRSS - Retry on failed torrent downloads Initial Comment: Within ScaneRSS v0.9.9 - when a filter is matched with a feed, and ScaneRSS attempts to download the torrent, if the download fails for whatever reason, ScaneRSS doesn't do any further actions. The download could fail for various reasons (as documented in the log). The server (like mininova etc) could be busy and so you get a 'request timed out'. Or there could be an error like 'internal server error'. But shortly after, manually trying the download via ScaneRSS will be successful. If the download fails, it would be good for ScaneRSS to retry x number of times in y minute intervals (like, 10 times in 10 minute intervals for example). I've found that as bittorrent is getting more and more popular, the lack of this feature has caused ScaneRSS to get progressively more unreliable as torrent sites get busier and busier. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Leonard Brünings (damokles) Date: 2008-03-15 02:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=966071 Originator: NO Implemented in SVN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Leonard Brünings (damokles) Date: 2008-03-15 02:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=966071 Originator: NO Implemented in SVN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=826442&aid=1834255&group_id=163110 |

Feature Requests item #1834255, was opened at 2007-11-19 00:14 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by damokles You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=826442&aid=1834255&group_id=163110 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 7 Private: No Submitted By: coreying (coreying) Assigned to: Leonard Brünings (damokles) Summary: ScaneRSS - Retry on failed torrent downloads Initial Comment: Within ScaneRSS v0.9.9 - when a filter is matched with a feed, and ScaneRSS attempts to download the torrent, if the download fails for whatever reason, ScaneRSS doesn't do any further actions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Leonard Brünings (damokles) Date: 2008-03-15 02:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=966071 Originator: NO Implemented in SVN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Leonard Brünings (damokles) Date: 2008-03-15 02:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=966071 Originator: NO Implemented in SVN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=826442&aid=1834255&group_id=163110 |
