AZD: A New Beginning / News: Recent posts

OK, now that I have time, I hate to say this, but changes are happening.
I'm switching the project from C++ to Java (if you knew C++, picking up Java should be easy). I was making prototypes in Java for classes, and decided that I would like to try and make the entire engine in Java. It will be easier to read, easier to keep doc on it, and easier to code than straight C++, plus we get the multiplatform independence.
I will be using JBuilder6 Personal (go to www.borland.com and get yourself a free evaluation copy).
I'll be uploading my source files in the next few days. Keep your eyes open for them.

FAQ is up in project docs, and more are soon to come. Keep your eyes open. Coding will begin shortly!

Looks like we've got 3 email lists up and about.
azd-announcement will be a list for just info on new releases and stuff like that (admin only posts).
azd-code will be a discussion about the code in the mud.
azd-test will be for testing discussion.

Looks like we are live!
Everyone feel free to start entering features you'd like to see!
I'll be adding documentation of my design, and code within the next week.

I'm definately going to need help with sound, graphics, code, storyline, etc...

If you'd like to help, create a username in sourceforge, and I'll put ya into the project.
