#231 is installer messed up for windows version?

Upon install, the following apeared in a dos box, on a
win98se box(original spacing left in):

File creation error

after word, ayttm opened as normal, but I am unable to
tell it about my accounts, as the service type box
remains empty, there are no service types to pick.

Any idea what to do to correct it?
