Hi,
I did some tests and it seems that if you download
firmware to the activewire card and then scan the bus
the device does not appear and it's not possible to
interact with it using awusb_test.
If instead you download the firmware and immediately
change pin direction, or read or write to the device
then everything is OK and it is then possible to scan
the bus.

If you download the firmware twice in a row, you can use
awusb_test as normal after that. I will look into why this
is. I believe it is that the device requires some control
command in the firmware download that I have overlooked.
When I first wrote it, it was a few years back, and there
was some tricky control message duplication that needed to
be down to reanimate and renumerate the processor after the
firmware is sent. For now, this workaround may be needed to
use the device.
