Hi All,

A lot of popular web apps these days such as Drupal and Wordpress construct SEO friendly URL's by using a URL query which is then rewritten (Mod Rewrite for Apache, ISAPI Rewrite for IIS, etc) so that only the query part of the full string is shown.

For Example

/index.php?q=articles/how_to_guides/installing_php_5_on_iis_in_5_simple_steps

is rewritten to;

articles/how_to_guides/installing_php_5_on_iis_in_5_simple_steps

Currently these URL's are still shown in AwStats with the full URI-Stem and URI-Query values. I.e.

/index.php?q=articles/how_to_guides/installing_php_5_on_iis_in_5_simple_steps

And I would like to see a configuration directive in AwStats where the URI-Stem can either be masked so that the pages appear like this in the AwStats reports;

articles/how_to_guides/installing_php_5_on_iis_in_5_simple_steps

This could be done by simply having a MaskURLStem option that is set to 0 or 1, or alternatively a MaskURL option that uses REGEX to mask a user defined portion of the combined URI-Stem and URI-Query.
