old IIS logs

I use awstats in a scheduled task to analyze the IIS logs on a w2003 server.
We changed the admin password but we forgot the password in this task.
So, my stats are empty since the beginning of the year...
How to retrieve my stats based the existing IIS logs ?
I tried to change the LogFile in my awstats.conf and also a logresolvemerge.pl but it doesn't work.

Another problem : I can't update anymore the stats from the browser. Error : Permission denied.

I suggest that you run the AWStats update command from the command line. The log file to be imported can be specified in the command line with the -LogFile parameter.

You need to do that respecting the chronological order. If you already imported a log file of June 2014, you will not be able to import a log file from January anymore with regular AWStats commands. It is still possible to do it though, but you will probably need to hire someone to do the job for you.
