Hello. I've been researching for metrics that will monitor streaming stats for
media files as in "average time a media file is viewed or listened to". These
are essentially important stats for those in the media industry who wants to
learn how long customers are listening to their commercials if it is embedded
on a website for streaming. Is there a way to currently measure this from
AWSTATS by converting the accessed bandwidth stats of a specific file, to a
time measurement scale based on the media files the encoding quality (i.e.
24k, 128k, or 640 bit rate, etc..) and size?
I'm essentially try to categorize how popular each media files are and more
importantly, knowing exactly how much of the media file is being listened to
or viewed, and how many different people downloaded the file.
