    Hi,
    in the last week or so I have had a lot of hits from these domains and they
    are showing up in the hosts list instead if being removed at bots
    msnbot-157-55-16-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-157-55-17-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-157-55-18-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-157-55-112-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-12-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-13-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-192-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-193-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-194-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-195-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-199-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-207-46-204-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-65-52-104-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-65-52-108-
    .search.msn.com
    msnbot-65-52-109-.search.msn.com
    msnbot-65-52-110-
    .search.msn.com

    Earlier in the month these hosts had the
    referrer as "-"
    user agent as "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0;
    +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)"
    and these were identified as bots and removed

    In the last week or so the
    referrer is either "-" or a valid page
    user agent is something like
    "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; SLCC1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322;
    .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648)"
    or
    "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4325;
    .NET CLR 2.0.40607; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; .NET CLR 3.5.30707; MS-RTC LM 8)"
    or
    "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4325;
    .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; .NET CLR 3.5.30707; InfoPath.2)"

    Does anyone else get this bot and is there a way of identifying it as a bot to
    remove it from the hosts list?

    Regards,
    Simon
