Please add version support for Android and iOS. It would be really useful to be able to track what versions of these os's our users run.

Does anybody know how to do this?

You may want to have a look at the file <your awstats-directory>/wwwroot/cgi-bin/lib/operating_systems.pm. I assume you have to create some regular expressions that match the various versions, give them unique names and associate corresponding descriptions. In my version there is only one entry for Android systems: 'linuxandroid' which seems to subsume all Android versions.

There's an operating_systems.pm fix (#877), that's in the upcoming 7.3 version, which adds detection of iOS. We installed this fix a while ago, and it works fine, however, it does not show versions.

    Hi...
    I have:
    Debian 6 x64
    Perl, v5.10.1
    Awstats 7.3 (build 20140126)

In appache access log I see:
    (Linux; Android 4.2.2; TA10CA3 Build/JDQ39)
but in statistic it is probably recognized as Linux...is somehow possible to detect exactly as Android?

    Thank You for any help
