Google has changed its images domain name. Previously visits from google image searches worked just like any other search engine.
But they chnaged domain name and url to various formats but essentailly google.(.*)/imgres. I have implemented this in my search engines file. If it is absent I get garbage in my seach phrases because google has made a bad implementation where instead using q= for start of search phrase, some countries/browssers are sending q%3D.
But when I use my new serch engine id I don't get the garbage which means awstats is finding the search engine id string I have set up. BUT it doessn't include it in my list of found search phases(for google image searches where the browser has sent q=). So there is a problem with google but also a problem with awstats. I suspect this problem has always existed. Did the search engine id for google products ever work because its the same principle that I have used for new google images url format?
