AWS Toolkit for Eclipse Released

Amazon Web Services released the first version of a new open source project providing Eclipse integration for building applications on the AWS platform:
http://aws.amazon.com/eclipse

The first release consists of two components:
- Web Tools Platform integration so that developers can easily deploy and debug a Java web application to a cluster of Tomcat servers running in Amazon EC2 with just a few clicks.
- Management views for Amazon EC2 so that users can launch new instances from within Eclipse, open SSH connections to running instances, configure security groups, and more.

There's lots more to come for the AWS Toolkit for Eclipse, and lots of ways you can participate in the project. We'd love to hear your feature requests, feedback, and bug reports. If you're interested in contributing something but don't know where to start, feel free to let us know and we'd be happy to help find something for you.
