The EC2 Instances view is currently the only view that auto refreshes its data. It'd be nice to give users more control over the auto-refresh behavior.
- One simple option would be an Eclipse preference so that users could turn it off if they didn't want auto-refresh
- A slightly more advanced option would be only enabling auto-refresh if Eclipse has focus, or possible just if the EC2 Instances view is displayed and not hidden by other views
