Problem: If I click "send reply" on a message in my inbox, the subject and especially the person who sent me the message are not filled in. In the field "to" I can choose not only my friends but many people I don't know (maybe all users?), that is not usefull for a system with more than hundred users.
Solution: when I click "send reply" the subject is automatically filled with: 'AW: [the subject from the Mail in my Inbox]'. In the Field "to" the person to whom I will reply is automatically selected. If I want to forward the message to someone else, I can choose only my friends in the "to"-Field.
This is really a feature and not a bug, but should be implemented anyway because it reduces usability.
Amendment:
The subject line should read "Re: [the subject from the Mail in my Inbox]" (not the German "AW" as stated above).
Should be working now, will make update to contacts list on Saturday to do much the same thing.
I just clicked on reply and got a 403 forbidden.
Just tested with student, admin and teacher accounts, works for me. The two reasons the 'reply' action will throw a 403 are if you're logged out, or if the message you're replying to does not belong the the user currently logged in. Could you email me the username/password of the test account and I'll try to reproduce the error?
I tested again. Is it possible that one can only delete a sent message and not a received one? And sending a reply still didn't work. Will send you an email with logins.
