AV Tracker 1.2 - Installation
1. \Website\* -> upload to your website, e.g. to www.avtracker.info
Create an index.php there with following contents: <?php include 'tracker.php'; ?> or use the predefined one.
2. \Tracker Website\ -> upload to another website or to your local webserver
Download ip-to-country.csv from http://ip-to-country.webhosting.info/node/view/6 to that directory
[OPTIONAL] Install SQLiteManager (http://www.sqlitemanager.org/) to manage the sqlite database (datas.sdb)
[OPTIONAL] You can always check a reported AV in log.txt
[REQUIRED] By default all new reported AVs get the flag remove=true, set it manually to false using SQLiteManager
to display them on the website from step 1 or edit report.php:46
3. \Tracker Program\ open AV Tracker project with Visual Studio and compile the executable, results in AV Tracker.exe
REPLACE the url in Tracker.cpp with the one of your Tracker Website
4. Leak AV Tracker.exe on VirusTotal, Anubis & ThreatExpert. Copy datas.sdb from \Tracker Website\ to \Website\ to
display the results.
5. \Client\Client.cpp -> include it in your Visual Studio solution and call ExitAV(). You manually have to update
the IP table there.
Mail any questions, fixes, feedback and lawsuits you have to Peter@Kleissner.at.
This is version 1.2 developed by Peter Kleissner and individuals from the Stoned Mailing List.
Before you go crazy, keep in mind this is open source and read the FAQ on the website.
What you should do:
- use it to secure your product against unasked analysis and spying of anti-virus companies
- track your own product
