#10 Added GCC Debugging Flags and Fixed Warnings

After adding the GCC debugging flags (assuming the CC
is GCC), I fixed up the various warnings that GCC
detected. Mostly these were dead-code or sign
warnings. Nothing that would affect the operation of
avrprog, but the should be cleaned up anyway.
