AVRDude fails to work in the AVR section of the preferences of project. I have it configured and wrote a small program which compiled and loaded into the AVR mini controller via AVRDude, so it's working. I'm running a breadboard at 1 mip and have the delay's set as I've used before. It uploads fine and I can run AVRDude from the command line OK, including in terminal mode. I do have to use the -B 10 (or 5 seems to most of the time.) It's configured and in the command line to AVRDude.
I generally get the message that it cannot understand the information from AVRDude. Generally I can do a 'load from mcu' in the 'target hardware' tab and it works properly.
I had this problem with the last version and upgraded to NEON hoping that would fix it. It is curious that when I enter the device "/dev/dragon", which works with the older version. It fails to find the port and complains about the programmer. However it never accesses the programmer as you can see it's communications lights. When I remove the path from configuration, it not only finds it, but tells me it's at '/dev/dragon'. But does choke end the end.
Attached screen shot of error. The address of the Dragon (via lsusb) is:
Bus 001 Device 027: ID 03eb:2107 Atmel Corp. AVR Dragon
Which is what's shown in the error detail.
It would be very nice to have this working as it's very difficult to jump out and in to figure something out. Thanks to all of you for your time and trouble.
