Al last I was able to install Avogadro and now I am learning how to use it. I
already have a question...is it possible to change atomic colour?
I am drawing dolomite and as usual Ca and Mg are coloured like.

This is possible in the current development code, where you can set custom colors for any given atom. Since you're compiling from source code, I'd suggest getting the latest code from GitHub:
