#200 Windows Vista compatibility

I am Jyoti Prabhu from Microsoft's Application Experience group.
I would like to know if AviSynth v2 is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista.
Please let me know the earliest and latest supported version.
The compatibility information will be published on our website www.windows.com/compatibility.

Avisynth is a 32bit library that interfaces through the Windows AVIFile API. The core uses no special resources and runs on all M$ OS's from Windows 95/NT3.5 and up. Some 3rd party plugins, like fft3dGPU, may need advanced features like DX10 so will need XPsp2 or latter.

The Next release stream, 2.6, will use threads, so the minimum OS requirements will become Windows 98/NT4sp5.

Squid80 on doom9.org forum has been successfully experimenting with native 64bit build, but these lack most of the MMX/SSE enhanced fast code (written in VC++ inline ASM, which the 64bit compiler stupidly does not support).
