When Trim(..,..) and (an endless) Loop are chained
together, the loop reproduces the audio track once,
then gives silence.

I tried the following script in Win2k SP4 / AviSynth
2.56 beta3 20050505 / VirtualDub 1.5.10 b.18160. No
other AviSynth plugins are loaded. (I have no sound
capabilities and no yuv decoder available at the
moment, so I need Histogram.ConvertToRGB to display the
audio track).
#############################
BlankClip(Pixel_Type="YV12")
AudioDub(Tone)
Trim(0,50)
Loop
Histogram("stereooverlay").ConvertToRGB
#############################
Loop(-1,0,50) also doesn't work correctly, but the
audio track 'lives' 'till Frame 250.
The audio track is repeated correctly, when e.g.
Loop(10) is used.

I hope I helped you in developing AviSynth.
Sorry for my crappy English.

Wow! Spagetti code rules. I'll look into it.

Gee, was this ever tested?? I rewrote Loop::GetAudio(),
commited to CVS, available next build.
