The doc has this as an example for using the http functionality of avfs: /#http:www.inf.bme.hu|~mszeredi|avfs| However when one actually tries to use it, eg: cat $HOME/.avfs/#http:www.inf.bme.hu|~mszeredi|avfs| One gets to the problem that the shell interprets | as the pipe character; and any escaping I've tried doing doesn't help. Doing just: cat $HOME/.avfs/#http:www.inf.bme.hu works fine, so I'm sure that both avfs and the http function are actually working. What's the right syntax to do this? |
