The "Broken pipe" is a standard error message, i. e. it comes from strerror(). The first part of the string appears to be slightly mistyped, and is probably that one: jtag2run.cc: unixCheck(numfds, "GDB/JTAG ICE communications failure"); It is sent out when the select() returns a negative value, i. e. it failed. In your case, it apparently failed since one of both communication partners (either GDB itself across the TCP socket, or the USB daemon across the socketpair() pipe) closed its end of the communication channel. -- cheers, J"org .-.-. --... ...-- -.. .
