Learning material in the AvantiQuizlet is comprised of a subject, which consists of items that are represented as attributes. Items can be labeled using tags in order to assist in organizing and filtering items during learning activities. Attributes can be text strings, images or audio clips.

AvantiQuizlet can currently display an item's attributes in the "learning" (or review) mode. (Quiz mode is not yet supported.) Although audio playback was implemented before porting to LWUIT, support has not yet been converted to the LWUIT version of the quizlet. Avanti Quizlet is a Java mobile J2ME application for learning through multimedia-rich flashcards and interactive quizzes.

An initial version has been imported to the Subversion repository. Only source files have been added. Resource files (i.e., data files, LWUIT library, kXML library) have not been added at this time.

Development is still in its infancy. The application can parse an XML file (in a predefined format), list its contents and display text and image attributes on the selected item.... read more
